Though I have never camped there, I can give a firm second hand endorsement for this campground. A coworker and his wife camp there regularly with their two pugs. They express alot of superlatives about the facilities and owners. In fact, they LOVE it. They love the canine activities and areas within the campground and they too love the cuisine and human activities provided in the evenings.
Just be sure to visit the website and clearly understand the campground rules and exclusions. For instance, children under mid-adolescent age (age 14, I think) are not permitted. Personally, this is a plus for me as a dog owner wanting to have a very dog specific stay. However, many families with kids will not easily grasp this. As others have mentioned, the owner intends to provide a positive experience for ALL and, as such, the rules are pretty strictly enforced. In my book, this is a very good thing, particularly for the special focus of this campground.
