Four Paws Kingdom Campground
I was happy to see a pet area on this forum, and I wanted to share a link to a campground that is dedicated to dogs and their owners. I have no connection to this campground, except I love it and I go there a lot. I just thought some of the folks on this part of the forum might be interested in taking their dogs there. The events on their calendar indicate that there's really no place like it for entertainment and enjoying time with your dogs. We go four or five times a year with our trailer and our dog.

Thumbs up for 4Paws Campground
We camp at Four Paws Campground at least one time a year. The owners are great and run a tight ship. The great part about it is the dogs play all day (swimming, running, hiking, agility) while the owners sit and watch. Then at night the dogs sleep while the owners have a nice dinner, sometimes professionally cooked by the owner of the campgound, and play games. Fun times!

Just returned from five nights at Four Paws Campground over Easter weekend. This was also their Hamburg Harbor Fest weekend and Meik and Birgit were great. $13.00 bought a big schnitzel, Käse Spatzle (German noodles with cheese), a bratwurst in a paprika, green pepper sauce with potato salad, a regular green salad and German chocolate cheesecake; all for one person.
The dogs did an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday and romped the rest of the time. If you have up to four dogs, love dog lovers and want to relax in a beautiful setting this is the place.
As said above the owners run a tight ship, are responsive to you needs, friendly and love dogs.

Four Paws is in Rutherfordon North Carolina. 20 miles from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park, where they filmed the last 20 min. of Last of the Mohican's with Daniel Day Lewis. Great campground for people and dogs, beautiful area.

I'm so glad to see info on this campground. My husband and I were thinking about going here in June. I looked up there website and the place looks perfect for our 2 little darling boys, Bubba & Harley(pugs). We all would be one little happy family camping here.

The pugs will love it and the owners are really dog lovers and great hosts. We booked several dates for the summer and fall when we were there as we loved the place so much. You will have a nice experience.

Now why cant something like this be up here in Washington state, I nearly got into a fight at the beach cuz some Guy didnt like the fact that my dogs are off leash, and as he said, theres a Leash Law in this State, LOL
