GIG stands for Greyhounds In Gettysburg. This is an annual meet where Greyhound owners and adoption agencys come together along with vendors and activities. It is estimated that there will be over 3,000 Greyhounds there. People come from all over the U.S. for this event just like they do in October at Dewey Beach DE. There are many RV'ers there that stay at Drummerboy, RoundTop, Grantedhills, KOA and the Gettysburg Campgrounds that bring there Greyhounds and some looking to adopt. On Friday evening at Battlefield Harley Davison starting on the 24th Of April the weekend after Easter, the owner of HD is going to supply food for all that comes to there showroom for free. So if anyone is in Gettysburg that week end you will not have to look hard for a loving pet. So if you happen to see this Suburban, please stop by. And if you happen to live near by visit gettysburg that weekend of the 24th.
