We bought our camper solely for dog sports so I travel with 2 belgian malinois and 1 irish terrier. Occasionally other folks travel with us and I have their dogs too. That's the reason we are getting a toy hauler! We routinely stay at the KOA in Clanton, AL and the other folks at the flyball tournament do too so 1 weekend the whole campground was dog folks but not one dog was barking since we all take being good neighbors pretty seriously. The campground even says they LOVE us coming since we are gone all day and go to bed early at night

I bought my RV due to the pups as well, but not the only reason. I take them with me everywhere and time that I can. I have a 10 year old Aussie and a maybe 2ish year old minpin, both girls.
As for campgrounds, I have not really been hit with pet fees, but I also look for campgrounds that have a fenced off leash area so I can run my Aussie. Even at 10 she is very high energy and needs a good run or two each day. Plus she LOVES her job fetching whatever it is she wants me to throw (though she knows its limited to soft toys and small sticks.) I have never had issues with neighbors, but my new rescue pin is a little barky so I do what I can when I am away to make sure she settles in the camper.

One of the main reasons we went with a larger RV was due to our babies. At the time we bought the coach we had 4, now we have 6. A golden (you can see her in the drivers seat of my avatar), an Australian Shepard, 3 middles sized dogs, and a small one that we just rescued from a friend. We have their kennels in the coach where the table used to be, and they love going. At campgrounds we have 2 fairly large kennels we setup, and have never had any issues. We keep them quite and of course pick up after them. We also try to find campgrounds with fenced in dog runs, it sure makes potty time a lot easier......

We travel with three. Mostly State and Corp parks. Mostly they want to br sure the dogs have had their rabies shots. The pups go with us every where. Only one is a bonified terror, the maltese L.B.

Road Warriors
We've been all over Illinois and Missouri with our little road warriors. The females love going anywhere and meeting people.
Our "old man" yorkie hates the truck time, but likes the parks and forest preserves we frequent.
They all laid claim to the trailer sofa and sleep there on and off during the day, and stay put at night.
Abby - Tea Cup Yorkie Female (13 yrs.)
Mickey - Large Yorkie Male (14 yrs.)
Gypsy - Tibetian Terrier Female (3 yrs.)

We bought our TT for the express purpose of taking Henry (boxer dog) with us when we evacuate for hurricanes. Henry is very well behaved, praise God, but doesn't seem to care for the trailer. You might even go so far as to say he hates it! But we've never had any issues with the RV parks.

I travel with 3, 2 greyhounds and a German Shepherd Mix. We have been all over, mainly National and State Parks and NF campgrounds, but occasionally a private park, and we all visited Disney World/Fort Wilderness this past summer. They were all very well behaved (although Shadow did come down with the big D).

Noah's ARK
Several times we have taken our ARK and gone for a week with 4 pets. 2 dogs a cat and a Parrot all hate the trip but love to be there. This next summer will be strange our cat just died and our old dog doesn't go with us, she stays with one of our kids along with the parrot. So this year will be quiet and when we go for walks no cat, parrot and only one dog going to be different. No funny looks and no kids running up to talk to the parrot. Our state parks have put a limit on the number of pets (2), they to many loud dog complaints.

My Shepards have always loved to travel. When I got my first motorhome, though, my then 4-year-old Max didn't know what to make of it, and hid in the back most of the first trip. He quickly got used to it, though, and loved to go in the "big car". His last summer, though, at the age of 12, he seemed to be a lot more uncomfortable, and this 100-pound monster of a dog kept trying to climb under my feet while I was driving. I lost him that November.

We travel with two dogs, a 5# Yorkie and a 60# Boxer. They both travel well, have been from Texas to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Washington state and points in between. I guess one could say they are well traveled. This year we have added a rabbit to the mix, we will see how that works out. First trip will be from Florida to Texas when we get our new rig hopefully by mid December.

My husband and I travel with a Party Poodle (toy) named Sassy and a Shih Tzu named Scooter. We were on the road this summer for 6 months with them. They were raised traveling so they are old hands at it.

We have been camping with two Siberian Huskies since we have started to leave the beaten path. Two kids have past and two more have joined us and we will see how the babies do when we head out in two weeks in our new Evo 2850.
