We have a goldendoodle and a mini schnauzer who both love camping! The doodle loves swimming when we're near water too. Couldn't upload that video for some reason!

We camp with 3 boxers and a cat. The cat, by far, is the best of the four!

We ended up getting a 5th wheel because the dogs hogged the couch on bumper pull and we ended up sitting on the floor or at the dinette seating to watch tv.

We now have our own rocking chair reclining chairs in our fifth wheel and the dogs are scared to jump on them. They can continue to have the couch.

Gotta love a good spoiled family member! Ours shares the trifold sofa with DD, stealing her blankets.

^^ agreed!^^ Our dogs are big but they have been trained that dogs are on the floor unless invited on a couch, bed whatever. They also are not allowed in our bedroom under any circumstances. We usually leave the slider door open to the garage, but they seem to prefer the throw rugs in the main cabin area!

Even if I did not have a Dobie, I would not stay at a park that has breed bans. The large majority of those dogs have the best manners. My current Dobie does not like other dogs (was attacked by a pittie mix), but will ignore most people as long as she is not confined to a crate. She does not bark excessively like little dogs. Since most people are afraid of big dogs in general we always step aside to let people pass just for that reason not because of aggression. As mentioned before, having a microchip pet (including cats) and health records are important.

I didn't see a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel listed by anyone so here is our 4 year old, Jazy. She enjoys camping with us. As suggested by someone else getting him/her chipped a good idea. We also have 2 collars for her, the camping one has our cell phones on it versus the home one has our home phone number.

Any health issue with King Charles Spaniels? How are they with shedding and grooming?
