We have 2 indoor cats and have traveled all over country and when we stay at a park and we say we have. 2 cats they say they aren't worried about them. Only dogs so you can stay any where and do not have to worry about a pet site .Your cat is welcome whether you mention it or not. A least that is what we found in our travels. And we do not ever ask for pet sites.

We have run into this at Maryland State Parks, and Disney's Fort Wilderness.

Private campgrounds probably do not have these types of restrictions, just the number of pets per site.

I can see the problem now.

That could have been my dad's truck, except his was white. Working the swing shift, he went to check on something and when he came back, he couldn't find his truck. Flashlight finally located the driver door sticking up; the rest of the truck was pretty flat.
Would have been while working on the Oroville Dam, California in the mid 60s or Cochiti Dam in N M early 70s.
