Just a sad fact that if you are going to have pets they will pass on. I my 46 years of married like we have had 12 very loved pets. This included 3 champion boxer show dogs. We miss each and every one of them. We now have two Yorkies and one Boxer. They love to go camping.

Our Boxer and Yorkie loved to go camping, they would ware me out hiking in the mountains or where ever we camped. Our last year together was a downward spiral for them, we didn't camp much at all because of there health. Have had 4 Boxers 1 Yorkie along with a couple of mixed breeds over the years, all were loved and very well cared for.

I'm sorry for your loss. We lost our German Shepard "Polly" last year.

I know loosing a pet is hard you get so attached to them. . We just lost our 2nd Yorkie this week and our 16 year old Yorkie 2months ago. They sure did love to travel and camp. They will be missed. Hope down the road we can find us another. Will wait till end of camping season to look. Sure will be quiet around here. Later RJD

Its hard, but time will bring relief and good memories. We list our baby Abby at 3:00am Feb of 2013. Never want to bury a dog again. Then, with time, we decided to film the void in our home with a new baby. We got Chloe July 4, one year ago today. She helps us cope.
The first picture is our sweet Abby. The second is our new Chloe.
Hope you find some peace too.

Still missing our Yorkie and Boxer so very much. Our hearts are still heavy with sadness. Have not camped since this past November taking care of our "kids" till the end. We are in the talking stages of a trip to Glenwood Springs, Colorado around mid August, If we do go it sure will be tough without our little buddies. Fully intended to go to Goshen but for obvious reasons that didn't happen this year.
