She was loved and gave that love back every day. I believe that that love will always continue. My condolences for the loss of your family member.

we lost our camping buddy, Zoe, right before this last Christmas.
camping without her just isn't the same. in fact, we've only gone once this year. normally we would have had 5-6 trips under our belt by now.

just know that many of the members here, know what you're going through and how much of a hole in your hearts there is.

Leaves a big hole in your heart when a pet dies. We also had a Cairn (Maggie) who was the world's best traveler. We lost her 9 years ago - mostly of old age - she was 16.

Only way to heal that broken heart is get another pal. We got Mistie - world's greatest dog... period.

RIP, Mac.

Very sorry to hear about Mac! May she rest in peace. DW and I have had to send 3 loyal 'family members' to doggy heaven so I can relate to your pain. Just remember all the good times!

so very sorry DDC. Yes they truly become our "fids", kids with fur. Obviously she was blessed to have you as parents.

We've just begun taking "Fred" with us, a rescue dog that LSU Medical center (veteranarian dept) gave up on 3 years ago...gave him 2 days to live. He's loving life with us on the road and took to it like a duck to water.

May you fnd peace knowing you gave Mac a "dog's life" that all other dogs can even't imagine.

We understand your loss too well. It has been a tough week for us as well. My boy, Glacier, past suddenly last Saturday and we lost Denali yesterday morning.

As much as it hurts us, we know that they are playing together now.

Oh no Hondaman! That is just too much sorrow. Yes they are running and playing and shedding and drooling and having a blast together. Wish I could give you and yours a hug.
