Lost Our Little Girl

We lost our little girl, Casey, yesterday. She was 14 1/2 years old, and had developed heart problems about 6 months ago. Meds kept it at bay for awhile, but it progressed to the point she was starting to suffer, so it was time. Hard to do, but it was best for her.
She was a great camping/traveling companion, along with our other pup, and she will be missed terribly. But we've been there before, and will most definately be looking for another rescue to join our family.

Thanks everyone. Been showing the responses to my wife, who belonged to Casey. She and Casey bonded from day one, and took it hard when the decision had to be made.
She was part of our lives, and as you pet lovers know, they can leave lasting memories. Still have my pup, Charlie, our 3rd rescue, and I belong to him.
May sound strange, but Cheryl is already on several Westie Rescue sites planning on getting another one.
Can never have enough love and affection in your life from one of these guys.

Sorry for the loss. We lost our companion just before Thanksgiving after 17 years. They do become like a child for sure.

Crossed Over The Great Bridge.

Sorry to hear your Fur Baby Casey has crossed over the great Rainbow Bridge. They become so close as a family member it is a great loss when
they pass.

My heart goes out to your family for I know the loss also.
