New Puppy!

Here's a pic of our newest family edition. She is a purebred Boston Terrier, and we named her....Kona. (after one of my favorite places, and favorite coffees)

I hope the people at the campground don't mistake her for a skunk! (don't tell my wife I said that!) Naw. She's cuuuuuuuute!

She's 8 weeks old, and she'll be a new camper this season.

So cute! Did you name her Kona because you like the coffee or because she was ridiculously expensive too?

I visited KONA, Hawaii...and just had a great time. Hawaii is so beautiful, and the coffee so delicious...

Anyway, I wanted to give her a name somehow related to a Jimmy Buffett song or theme. "Spooner" just didn't fit her, nor did some of my other suggestions.

Wife wanted to call her "Corona" after his long time concert sponsor. (and one of my choice beers) But now, Corona sponsors Kenny Chesney's tours (he thinks he's the new Buffett or something) because Jimmy started up his own brewery...and ticked 'em off.

We absolutely love traveling to the islands, so something tropical was in order. I have a lot of great memories of Hawaii...so we decided on a name to honor them. Her full name is, Kona-Lokelani.
Kona means Lady.
Lokelani means small red rose.

NDJOLLYMON, that is a cute one. Is she house or RV broken yet? the reason I am asking, I bought my wife a long haired Chihuahua this past Christmas, she was only 1.5 lbs, very small body parts that means every 15 to 20 mins running outside to the potty well with the pup being so small and it is Winter time the poor thing was shaking while unloading, so my wife had this bright idea....... why not litter train.. you would not believe it, only one day and she was litter train. Anya is her name and now she is 3 lbs and 6 months old, she has what they call the deer face not the big eye type and she is brown and white. Just to let you know, if you try the litter pan method use glay based litter, you know the cheap stuff and you don't need alot. Good luck with your new pup!

Our Kona is pretty much fully potty trained already. My wife is a real whiz at traing dogs, and works at home...so she's right on top of things...and that makes all the difference.

Puppy is doing well, and will enjoy our summer campground ...I'm sure.

Wow, that's a cute puppy. we just got a "chug" 1/2 chihuahua-1/2 pug. She has already been camping. We went to Jetty Park in Port Canaveral,Florida two weeks ago for my son's spring break. She is 10 weeks old and is doing pretty good with potty training. She seemed to enjoy herself camping, because everyone that saw her had to stop and pet her. Our Cocker Spaniel is starting to get along with her more every day. You should see the two of them chase each other thru the house.

I'll work on pictures, but in the meen time picture a chihuahua with a pugs head. Blonde with a darker streek(her mean streek)down her back and a black face. It's realy hard to resist thiose bug eyes, until she get's ahold of me with them razors they call teeth.
