potcake dog

do any fellow members have a potcake dog for a pet and do they make good campers

I believe if you got one as a puppy it would be good. I know of a couple of people who got them as "rescues" out of the Bahamas and the experience was not good. I used to spend a lot of time down there (we call the Bahamas "Detroit with palm trees" and if I never go to any of those Caribbean islands again it will be too soon) and they are a real problem. Hundreds, probably thousands, of strays and they are not friendly.

I've heard the puppy raised ones are pretty good, especially considering how clean they are. Because of that they would probably make good camping buddies.
At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.
