Great examples guys. Very clever, I never thought of doing any of this till now. I am getting the itch to build one!

I just found your post, wondering if JoJoBird had any luck with getting this accomplished?? We have the same idea with our small dogs. We are considering a dog door in the end of the slide, platform on the outside of rv, with enclosed ramp/walk to an enclosed dog run. We will be set- up on our own property for 6 months, so all concerns others have had aren't an issue. our issue is committing to and actually cutting the hole in the RV!! All the "experts" don't recommend due to 're-sale but we plan on keeping the RV. Wondering if you had any luck, or words of wisdom?? We were glad to see someone else with the same idea!

Since we are using large crates for transport, we will remove two crates from the RV and hook them to the outside of two of the slider windows using airplane wire. Here is a photo of one of the cages that we have hung. It is easily removed after use.
