Chauncey the Chocolate Labrador-Horse

This is Chauncey chilling with us in our 27'HFS XLR toyhauler. He's not too sure what to think of it yet (just got it a month ago). He seems a bit nervous in it. Just takes some time I guess. He's 90lbs of Chocolate Lab (hence the "horse" moniker.) Everyone says, "he's so big for a Lab", but we just say he's "fluffy".

Chauncey is a good-looking pup, how old is he? Give him time, he'll be giving you the bum's rush to get to the trailer before you know it.
Both my DH and I are big fans of labs, I grew up with black labs and he has owned black, white, and chocolate. Moving to Arizona was a tough adjustment for his last two dogs. Harley (white/cream) developed severe skin allergies, and Kaede (chocolate) succumbed to kidney disease. DH wants a silver lab, but he's still grieving from losing his buddies. They were his companions after his first wife passed away.

Labs

Right on! I have always thought the silver labs are cool looking - not what you'd expect in a lab. We love Arizona and visit once a year but I don't know how pup would do in that environment... Hopefully we'll find out by taking our rig down there next year!

Same is true for our Chocolate - Chauncey - He LOVES the water - there is no way you are keeping him out of it. Last time we went camping there were no bodies of water around so he proceeded to find the nearest mud puddle and go for a splash in it. This is a photo of him hanging out in the toyhauler

What an interesting looking dog George/Judy. It's a little deceiving in the picture...how big is he/she?
