This is our first year of camping with our dogs. We purchased a Pet Tagg Tracker for one, as if she gets frightened she panics and runs (the other one is never more than 2 ft away). Figure if we stop somewhere and somehow she gets out, it will save a lot of time if we know where to look. But MORE important are tags with our contact info (remember to add cell phones) and they are microchipped just in case. I know overkill but when one goes missing, you'll wish you'd done the same!

That definitely needs a photo or two - I believe you, but would like to see a pic.

Jake is one of our 4 legged hair kids...his brother was taking over the couch at the time of this shot. They are a pair of 8 month old (80+ lbs) labs.

This is Bear (Chessie) and Ellie (Pit bull and Blue Heeler) on the way to their first camping trip! Bear is 2 1/2 and Ellie is 10 months. This is also their first exposure to more than one other dog at a time. We had a total of 7 dogs in our group Memorial Day Weekend. That is why we purchased this bad boy:

I know it doesn't look like it in the picture, but they actually enjoyed it! LOL! It allowed them to stay outside 90% of the time. We could let Bear run free, but not Ellie...she is too much of an explorer. Pretty sure we'll still be packing the little fence even after our pups get used to being out in the world!

Hey, RVChick!

I purchased this from Amazon.com and I am pretty sure you can find other outlets online. It was the best $73.00 I've spent in some time! :-) It is called BestPet® Black 40" Heavy Duty Pet Playpen Dog Exercise Pen. It is worth it's weight in GOLD!
