She sure is cute. I wonder the same thing every day to about our little bandits. I think they were a gift that we may never be given again but will always be ready just in case.

My ex brought home a baby which was abandoned when someone cut a tree down that had a nest of babies in it....Momma didn't have much of a mothering instinct and took off, leaving them.

We raised her until she was grown and became aggressive during breeding time. Then we put an orange reflective collar on her and set her free (we lived on 250 acres out in the country and didn't want hunters to shoot her).

She came and went as she pleased, but *always* came back when she had babies...easy food source. Over the years she brought MANY litters of babies around, and they'd all go down to the horse barn and eat out of the 55 gallon drums of corn we stored there. You'd walk in the barn and they'd be laid out on the rafters above...fat and lazy. If they wanted something different they'd come to the house for dog food.

One strange thing about her was that she loved votive candles. Many times she'd come scratch on the back door and as soon as I opened it she'd HAUL it into the house, head straight for a coffee or end table, grab the first one she saw and HAUL it back out of the house. Got no idea what she did with 'em, as we never saw any of those she snagged again.

Her name was Patches. Interior decorator specialist I guess.

This is Miss Maggie. She is a chocolate Boston. as you can see, the camper does not leave the house ( nor the driveway)without her and her brothers. Like all ladies, she makes sure you know that she is going!!! "Dibs on shotgun"Click image for larger version

Hello. Campers.
Update on show us your Hounds.
We recently adopted a new hound and she's not on here yet. This is Luna. She's a camping veteran as of this past weekend. She did very well and will be going the end of this month out with me and my other dog Lexus September long weekend. Click image for larger version

ID:	59715. With my wife. Lol it's just me and the girls this next one because Debbie's working and can't join us.
But we are both ok with this. No Wifi out at Medicine Lake so contact will be very little. We just returned from the same place and my wife was not impressed with the no Wifi thing.
So these are the hounds.

This little guy hit the road with us just after his first birthday. He loves to travel and rides shotgun on the middle console of our F150 most of the time. He is now an international traveller, accompanying us in our new Coachman 246RKS to Nova Scotia and Ontario this summer. Click image for larger version

Hey Outlaw, sorry to hear about your Boxer. We have one also, and she's coming up on 10 years. Do you mind if I ask how yours went. We had a Boxer way back, and he lived better than 16 years, which is pretty unusual for any dog, but I've heard a lot of different things about Boxers. Just wanting to know if there is anything we should watch for.

Your new dogs are great. Some spirited looking pups.
