As I said...neglect and abuse is not the fault of the dog, regardless of the breed, but of the owner - if you could even call the person an owner.

I was going to add a picture of my dog, but I can't figure out how. I 'think' that I was able to get the picture in the photos section though. It isn't the best picture, but one that I had handy at the moment.

These are my pups!
The blond is my little girl Cami and the red head is my boy Ozzie. Both from the Costal German Sheppard rescue here in SoCal.

This is Jack and Bailey. Both dogs were rescued when we lived in Northern VA. Jack is a Collie/Great Pyrenees mix and Bailey is a Foxhound. Both love camping.

Thanks for starting this thread. Campers love their dogs, and I think everyone enjoyed seeing the photos and reading the comments. I think what I like best about camping is being able to take my dog, and the posts here indicate a large percentage of campers feel the same way.

You asked for tips; well, here's one: Check out this campground Four Paws Kingdom Campground - Go Camping with your Dog!

I have mentioned it a few times on this forum to people who love camping with their dogs, and I promise I have no connection with their business except that I love going there.
