Meet Doc Holliday.

Day one at our house and a few years later. He is big for a golden, 116# and muscular. He is now white faced and fighting hip dysplasia, but still has plenty of spunk in him. Good old boy

What a handsome Trio....

One thing I have learned about traveling with dogs....
...they never ask - where are we going?
...and they are Always happy wherever we arrive !

These are Bailee and Gracie. Bailee is the one at the top of pic. We've had Bailee since she was a puppy and marked my wife as her territory. Bailee isn't doing very well right now although she has improved, she has a bulging disc in her back. Gracie we almost ran over the day we found her, someone had dropped her, she was all matted and covered in burdocks' took my wife and the groomer a total of 4 hrs to clean her up. Nobody claimed her so she's ours now. Both are shih Tzu's and the same age according to the vet.

When my wife can't go on a long day trip our dogs do go and the love to go, after the first 15 min they lay down and relax. Both hate to be home without us and they know when I take them I am going to share my lunch with them. Nicest thing you never that whiny voice saying are we there yet. The ask for 2 things a bathroom break and a treat.
