I know this is an older thread, but I use these. I find them at yard and garage sale for a few dollars each. I have a German Shepherd and a 2 1/2lb papillon and they both stay in there. My GS won't jump anything. Mine are all white.

We ordered this pen for our three, takes little storage and isn’t heavy. We got it from the chewy website.Click image for larger version

We are new to Class C (we had a truck camper for 6 years, and a 28' 5th wheel before that) and we have used 4' tall xpens for years.

We have used a short piece of fencing under the steps so that no one can sneak under the camper.

If the dogs are in the pen - we are out there with the dogs. We never leave them alone. They are very agile. They never try to get over the fence - but I have seen them clear other 3-4 foot obstacles without trying. I think because they can see through the fence, they stay behind it. (but they do check the gate on a regular basis to see if it was left unlocked!)

the fence has served several purposes - keep our puppies restrained - but also keep the dogs belonging to idiots who dont use leashes out - and to keep the two legged animals out. We have had several cases where children want to pet or feed our dogs. The 4 foot tall pens help address the 2 legged animal problem - keeps the shorter 2 legged animals from reaching over. I am not worried about our dogs - they love people and children.

In our truck camper we used a modified bike rack on the front of the truck to carry the xpens. Now that we have gone to a Class C, we moved the bike rack to the back of the toad, and carry the fence there.

These octagonal pens, typically called X-pens, are great. We typically use 2 but you can use as many as you have room for. Flea Markets and yard sales are good sources for them at a reduced price. WM has them usually as does PETCO, PETSMART etc. Fold easy, store easy and travel great.

if you have dogs that jump, a ez pop up canopy lowered down makes a nice roof that will keep most dogs from jumping, plus provides shade.
