Thanks for posting this, now we know to be careful with our pooch when he's on our camper steps.

We had problems with our mix lad and sheppard sliding on the steps. I went to Lowe's and bought the large sheets of non-skid. It helped alot, it not only prevented her from slipping on the steps but also covered the hole in the steps so she wouldn't catch anything going in or out.

I bought a light weight, folding ramp from Amazon for my 14 year old Shih Tzu after he tore his ACL jumping in and out of the motorhome. It worked great until he passed away last month. He was a wonderful companion and I miss him!

Thanks for the post. When we got the GTown it had carpet on the steps. We bought an adjustable step from CW to make up the difference between the lower step and ground. Olivia would not use it until I carpeted it-- guess she knew about the nail thing!!! Carpet was $1 at Dollar Tree and I siliconed it to the step.
