We camp with two Shitzus. Since we bought the trailer to travel with our dogs, we affectionately named it the Dawg House since Scarlet and Shelby make theirselves right at home. For little dogs, they make that queen size bed real small......

I have a 90+ lb German Shepherd named Dash (who my user name is based on), a 60 lb greyhound named Lily, and a 74 lb Shepherd/Husky mix named Molly. They all bark somewhat, but the most beautiful sound in the world is when the three of them join together in melodious harmony. Dash and Lily earned 1st place at the 2009 Albuquerque Rally for "Best Howl", and Molly has learned well from her new siblings.

Greetings!

We have two hounds that are our companions.

"Shadow Wood" a 12 yr old Lab/pointer mix that found me when I worked in a well known state park in North Georgia...she followed me around when I did hikes... thus the name.

"Sunny Delight" a 2 yr old yellow lab.

Both are rescue pups and we love them very much... great furry travelers and campers.

We have two Beagles, Snoopy and Dexter. We take them camping with us sometimes. They love it. Now that we are getting a bigger camper and moving from a hybrid, we will take them more.

We have Lady Raffy of Raffydiddle Road CGC, RL1. She's an Irish terrier mix from our local shelter. She comes to Raffy. Then there's Lord Rhyse Bingly Raffydiddle, or Rhyse. He's an Airedale Terrier. I wanted to fill up all the boxes on his registration form and got a little crazy. We used to live on Raffydiddle Road, named for a poem. Raffy's smart, has her APDT Rally Obedience level 1 title and CGC. Rhyse is lovey and dumb as a stick but got his CGC. They travel well and we're looking forward to rving!

We have two dogs, a 9 yo flat-coated retriever named Buster. We named him that because he was the biggest puppy in his litter and pushed all his siblings around to nurse. We also have a 1 yo GSD mix named Miley, after Miley Cyrus because we have two daughters who were big fans at the time. Miley was a rescue from the pound. She had already had three homes before us at only 12 weeks old.

Westbury (in the canoe) is an Australian Terrier aka "Gator Dog" as he jumped on a small gator one trip. Definitely has an attitude.... Loves to camp.

Sawyer is a Terrier Mix and is the DW's lapdog at 25lbs. Definitely loves to swim.

We have a boxer dog named Henry! He's a rescue pup from a bad breeder. Bless his little heart. We got the TT just so we can take him with us cause when left at a boarding kennel, he gets stress colitis so badly, he's sick for 5 - 6 months!

He is really good at killing small animals. In the four years that we've had him, he's killed 3 squirrels, 2 armadillos, and 4 rabbits! :O Most of the rabbits and the armadillos have just been this spring and summer.

He does alright on the trips. The not being at home deal makes him a little nervous, but as long as he's with us he's fine.

70 pounds of big ol baby!

I've enjoyed hearing about everyone's babies!

We have Potsie, a 3 year old rescued miniature poodle, and Rosie, my MIL's 7 year old cockapoo she had to give up when she had to move out of her house.

Potsie was found in TN, tied to a tree, along with a chow chow. We adopted him from the rescue group that took him in. He was rail thin (and the rescuer said she'd put several pounds on him by the time we got him, so he must have been a walking skeleton)The poor guy is just a tad paranoid, but he's lovable. We're working on his issues (he hates men with big voices - probably sounds like whoever abused him). He now is a healthy weight and enjoys his food!

Rosie came to us from my MIL, as I mentioned, morbidly obese. She was 28.2 pounds in February of 2011, but the vet wanted her around 14-15 pounds . We now have her down to around 15 1/2 pounds - yay, Rosie! It's amazing what a healthy diet and exercise will do.

Potsie smiling-silly boy!

Rosie when we got her in February

Rosie now (not a great picture, but you can see her new body)!

Our Old English Sheepdog is a rescue. He came with the name Bentley and we thought that is a good name for an OES.

We have 3 fur babies all Chinese shar pei. The thing is with Shar pei " they are just like potato chips " you can not have just one".
The first was already named after an ancestor " Tascha" ( Grants Lil Ms Tascha ] almost 8 yrs old
.
The second was a pretty hefty looking pup so we named him Wyndyhills Blu Sup-R- Dooty Diesel aka " Diesel", 3 yrs old .
Wyndyhill was the kennel breeder and blue was his color.

The 3rd was one of their puppies we just had to keep. She is a chocolate dilute named Grants hot caramel chocolate Latte aka " Lottie".

Mati the Wonder Dog

Mati,
only because she was a rescue dachsund. She loves camping more than we do. Looked for a long time (I grew up with dachsunds) and she landed in our lap within 6 hours of being rescued. So many rescue dogs that turn into the 'Perfect' loving family member.

We rescued a 9 week old mutt originally named "Tipper" in 2001. Reminded us too much of Tipper Gore ( elections just finished) so we renamed her Kali

Has she been spade? This may be a maternal thing coming out. Our golden holds her stuffies in her mouth like they are puppies. It is very cute. A trainer also told me that squeekie toys can become pray they make that sound that will set a dog off in hunt mode. good luck with this.

We have a two year old Beagle. My son named her Hailey but she has the nick name of Damit Dog. She loves camping and will run staight to the camper when asked "wanna go camping" but is a barker if one of us isn't with her so we can never leave her at the camper by herself. We don't want to be one of "those".
