He's a nice looking dog, and I'm sure he'll be a great companion. Congrats!

Awesome news, Turbs! I told you that you'd know when the time was right, and you took about the same amount of time that I did when we lost Zach! Rescue dogs usually have such great personalities--I think they're just so happy to be in a warm, loving home and out of the shelter with all the barking, that they do show their affection right off the bat! Toby's training will now begin to pay off...

Good luck with Max, he looks like a fine boy!

Congrats, Turbs on getting past the loss to give a deserving animal a better life.
unfortunately for us, we still haven't been able to replace our beloved Golden, Zoe, who's been gone a year now.
been a combo of still grieving and also being in transition to retirement and starting a new life in another state.

as soon as we move, one of the first things we'll be doing is getting another dog. life isn't the same without one.

Does the heart good Turbs, to see ya laughing.

Amazing that Max looks like a "photo negative" of Toby. Got the same expression in his eyes, which is what DH and I look for in a dog's eyes.

We say "look he's got kind soul in his eyes".

That's one helluva lucky dog, and one helluva lucky family you guys are too.

Good for you Turbo and Family for a deed well done.

I hope he will not be leaded astray like Toby was in the Great MGC capper @ Goshen 2013

Lookin at this picture again just now made me think

"does it occur to Turbs & Co. that with the wet spots on the floor of the GC, it looks like Toby stole the beer out of that holder, chugged it and tossed the can, causing that silly grin and spark of mischief in his eyes?"

Turbs - glad to see that you got another dog and look forward to seeing how he trains you and your family. Keep the pictures coming.
Thanks B !

Hey you know me!
There's always going to be pictures!
Wait till y'all see the great memorial were we've layed him to rest.
As I mentioned his final resting spot is near our home campfire ring where he'd be if it was lit.

Good for your Turbs. We lost one of our kitties in November after having him in our lives for 12 years. We've decided no more new pets until we retire. Down to 4 now! Then maybe we'll get a furry traveling companion. Nice to hear you rescued him; everyone always wants a puppy or a kitten. Hoping you'll have many great memories with Max.
