I can think of one reason why it was moved, Cedar Creek doesn't want people to know about this business. I thought Cedar Creek was doing me a favor by replacing the front cap and they should have replaced both caps. I found that out when he did the work for me

Using this "brilliant approach" I guess we should never have anyone touch anything we own as there are horror stories about every group of people or company out there!

Amish
We have drop dead beautiful hand crafted Amish furniture for 25 years and looks new. Fit and finish is incredible!
Working on an assembly line and meeting demanding cheap specifications are NOT THE SAME....period.
If our Amish wood quality were used in rv's smallest engine would be 700hp 😄

I originally had my 2014 CC booked in to the factory to have the front cap replaced. A recent email to Denise letting her know the rear cap is also now showing signs of fading had resulted in a change from the factory to Orvan at the Amish Family RV Services. He's also going to replace a window where the seal has perished and allowed condensation to form as well as a panel (my fault). Having read the comments here about how good he and his team are at their work I am looking forward to July and getting the rig to them.

Impressive topic! Does Orvin only work on Cedar Creek! I wonder if he'd work on my Cameo?

And that last comment pretty much sums up WHY FR needs outside repair shops. "Orvin booked through August"...... many people with issues cannot logistically work Indiana into their travel plans even with a repair appt. Just "assume" I know from experience.

I will be there Aug 24 unless they can get me in earlier. I hate to wait around nearly two weeks after the FROG but will i guess.

I'm booked if for the front & rear cap replacement (plus some other stuff) in July. Two days worth of work which I'm hoping can be completed in the two days. Just wondering; - Any recommendations for hotels nearby
- What time did you have to get the rig to them in the morning
- Has anyone left it there and plugged in - we're likely to have some food due to travelling
Thanks

We dropped our rig off Sunday night and left propane on for fridge. They will plug it in when the bring it in the garage. They like you to be there by 7:30 a.m. We stayed in a cabin at Indian Lakes campground 7 miles from Orvan's place.

Amish family rv repair
We just left Amish Family RV Repair with our 2016 CC Champaign that looks better than brand new. Orvan and his staff did such an excellent job doing some warranty work and so much more. They did such a great job that I will only have him work on my unit, even though it means traveling from New York. I highly recommend this shop, my only fear is he will get so busy, it will take forever to get an appointment!

Your rig must have been the one right beside mine because we also left about that time. Mine was in for the front cap and slide out seals, but he also found some items we did not know about. He did a fantastic job on our rig too. I just wish I could get him to move his operation to Texas...lol lol....There is nothing bad I can find about Amish Family RV...they are great
PS Don't stay at the Super 8 if you can help it.....has to be the most expensive Motel 8 we have ever stayed in. And it was in the middle of the week........
