I'm sorry you are having a few issues but glad to hear even with that, you love your 5th wheel.

I guess I'll ask the obvious...
Why would you complete the deal and pay cash for something you didn't fully understand or show you how it operated?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your RV. Too bad about the dealer but the good news is, any questions you have someone here will be able to help you with it!

Well for one thing I drove 10 hrs and was homeless with house sold and being delayed for over a week and trailer was waiting for me. They showed me the trailer shortly and then went inside to complete the transaction. I thought after that they would do a full go threw of trailer but never did everyone scattered from going inside and I had 10hr back haul and didn't want to hassle with them more than I did due to bad experience. The reason I drove 10 hours because it was $6000 cheaper.

And unfortunately now you most likely will have to do that 10 hour drive to get any warranty work done. Sometimes the cheaper option is not the best. :-(( I hope you get your chairs !!

Your most likely going to find that MOST dealers are not going to do any Warranty repairs because they did not sell you the RV. It's not like the Auto industry. RV dealers are Independent and Many if not Most like to only work on units they sell. Just a fact of life. Might not be right but that's how they look at it.

I'm sorry that you are going through this. You are not alone in finding out about problem with getting warranty work done outside of the dealership you brought from. Some members on this site have contacted FR directly and were provided a list of dealerships that would be willing to work on units they did not sell.

This is a nationwide warranty? I have a Two-Year Is bumper-to-bumper warranty and then after that I have a warranty that covers almost everything Just Have To get inspection every year that Would Cost $200 I know no Warranty Is free but I did not pay for this warranty and I still Got The Coach for $6000 Cheap In For the inspection I Could Call somebody out And they would come out and do a inspection

Thanks for that information. Is it true That you Could Hire somebody that is certified that they come out and fix the issue and Then I pay them. And I bill the warranty company and I probably have to get a approval.

You need to read your warranty to find out the procedure. Hoping you'll never need to use it.

Last sentence says it all. Even worse is so called roadside assistance. Unless you're stuck in the middle of the Washington bridge in NYC they aren't going to be much help. Warranty work happens months after you have a problem and the season is over.

We actually drove 4 hours to buy our RV because the dealer had an excellent reputation vs the so so reputations of dealers in our area. Reputation is absolutely the single most important thing in the RV industry because there are so many that fall very short.

You get a quote from the independent shop, contact FR for pre-approval, you pay the independent shop and then submit the bill to FR for reimbursement.
