I purchased a Clipper 17FQS from Carl Cox RV in Belleville ON in May of 2017. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about their product, and got us set up very quickly. They ran through an extensive PDI with me, and outlined all the potential problem areas, and basic troubleshooting techniques. They also ensured I had their phone number programmed in my phone, and are available for any and all questions I may have. The few minor issues that developed were dealt with promptly, including a broken thermostat and the exterior door clip.

We got bit by the bug hard, and ended up upgrading both the TV and the trailer. I purchased a Coachmen Freedom Express 248RBS from them, and they kept me up to date on the delivery process...they had already ordered it from the factory, and I bought it after they ordered it, but before they delivered it. They did an extensive PDI, and a thorough walk through with me when I picked it up. Without negotiating it, they included a new weight distribution hitch setup as part of the trade, as they realized that the old one was much to light for the 248RBS. The only issue I found on my initial trip (very short, kept the trailer dry due to winter in Canada), was that one of the stabilizer jacks was mounted backwards. The technician fixed it in the storage lot where I keep the trailer (It's the dealer's lot, they also winterized the Clipper in their lot without me having to worry about towing it in.)

My supervisor at work had purchased a Jayco at a dealership several hundred miles away, and the local Jayco dealer refused to work on it. Carl Cox RV fixed it on the spot when the Jayco was brought in, and did so for a very reasonable price.

Overall, my recommendation is that if you are anywhere near Belleville ON, and are considering an RV, go to Carl Cox. It's a family owned business that does sales and customer service right.
