FunTown RV Cleburn Texas

We ordered, and purchased, a new XLR 30HDS Hyper Lite and we are completely happy! We worked with Troy Waldrop and Jim Hale, and they were great with everything we wanted. Even the custom features were no problem for these guys.

In North or Central Texas, this is the place to go!

Good Luck

I sincerely hope you never need service from Fun Town RV in Cleburne. Without a doubt, the worst experience in my life.

The service for us was hit and miss from them. We just had some basic minor issues. Some trim loose. A spot on the shower that seemed to have a small chip. A frozen dump valve for the kitchen gray tank.

After a few weeks we got called it was done. I went to pick it up, the first thing I did was check the valve. Still frozen, not even looked at. Was the main thing I wanted fixed as I was not able to move the valve to empty tank unless I crawled under and did it by hand, which I did several times on our California trip. The tech walking around with me seemed a bit embarrassed as he should be because it was right there on the work sheet. I have to say the other smaller issues were taken care of quite well. Most impressed with the shower fix. Can't even tell there was an issue there.

Anyway, we left it and they took care of the valve the next week. But everything took longer than it should I think. Also, they said they would wash it and they never did. Not something they normally do, but they did say they would do it. I was just tired of dealing with them. We will go elsewhere probably now that we are out of warranty. That is if I can't fix it myself.

It seems with RV sales/service its sort of the luck of the draw one person has good experience others don't. some companies lean more to the do not side

Yeah, they are hit and miss, even for sales. I just bought a 2018 Rockwood 2304KS last week. PDI was good, tech even installed bug screens and a cover for the front vent. But after handing them photos of the exact WDH setup from my prior trailer (identical model, 2017 destroyed by Harvey) the "hitch department" decided to follow "their book" when setting up the WDH... which of course ended up being wrong and they had to redo it per my photos. So delayed. And I specifically told them to make sure all tires were filled to 50 psi. When I attached the TPMS, two of the tires were 2 lbs low, so another delay getting the tires up to spec.

I will give credit to the tech who was cheerful and moved quickly to get these things addressed. He also installed the rearview camera I rescued from the old TT. Good guy.

The salesman? Disappeared after he turned us over to "finance". Never came by again and we were there for several hours before departing. No follow-up call either.

Oh yeah, the finance guy just cut us loose after signing the papers and giving them the check. No escort. So we just wandered back over to the bay where the TT was being prepped.

Like I said, mixed. I will not try their service. I'll use an independent service provider approved by FR if I need warranty or maintenance service.
