A lot of people on here have purchased from them only heard good things. As for a east coast dealer Carolina rv in S.C. has had good reviews.

I know of some O.K. dealers out here but no "good" dealers.
California is the worse for finding any decent dealers.

I can’t find the model you say you are looking for.

Depending where in NJ you are, these places may be worth looking at:

Shady Maple RV in New Holland, PA and Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown, PA. Both have stellar customer service and great service departments with mobile technicians.

Jack Couch has many good reviews in Ohio if distance is not an issue.. Wilkens RV in mid New York state I know many have bought from them being happy customers.

You could try Crossroads in Newfield NJ, I have known some folks that bought there and have been pleased. Also try Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown Pa. not sure they have the Salem but do have the Hemisphere line, ask for Lee there, a very good guy to deal with.

Where are you located? We have a good dealer, although on the small side. Simi RV. If you are looking for TTs then they have more of those than motorized. They have a couple class As and CS.

If you're looking for dealer nearby that's fine but when I want a great deal on a new trailer, I wait till winter and go to Terrytown RV in Grand Rapids MI (even though I live not far from you and from Shady Maple RV in Lancaster County PA). Wait until December when there's no one is buying RV's and negotiate your best price at Terrytown. They try to move their inventory before Christmas. You can save thousands. They are a Salem dealer too. But they can give you a great deal, then you get to stay in your new RV on your way home. We bought our trailer at Terrytown RV at a great discount and go to Shady Maple for Service. You'll pay close to full retail at Shady or at Stoltzfus. Your won't at Terrytown. Talk to them, see what they have at all these dealers and then see what kind of deal you can get.

Yes, some delaers don't give preferential treatment for service their non-buyers but at other dealers they just schedule you when you ask and there's not much difference between those who purchased there and those who didn't. All handle warranty work a little differently. If I had a big warranty issue I'd go back to Terrytown, but for the small stuff, Shady Maple is five miles from our home.

Shopped for a Forest River Surveyor 243RBS at AOK at the Lake of The Ozarks. Good no haggle price, but found same trailer at Jeff Couch RV in Hamilton, Ohio for $ 5,000 less and had more options on it. 900 miles from Kansas City and cost $1,000 to have it delivered to my driveway. Down payment over the phone with a credit card to hold it and a cashiers check by mail.
