RV Kountry in Fort Myers?

We walked through a unit at their North Fort Myers location today. One we could actually see buying. Now Iím trying to check them out as a dealer + service center.

Iíve Googled until I was blue in the face and checked various review sites.

Does anyone here have any first hand knowledge/experience with them?

I think we might be going ahead and getting serious about talking price with them...

Hey Doug, I think a stuck water pump check valve is a poor excuse for a new RV, don't you?

Hey Doug, always enjoy your travel stories. On the dealer subject, we go with the one with the best unit for the best price. After the sale, we fully intend to never see them again. We use independent service wherever we are at for warranty, whenever possible. So the dealers rep after the sale is no value to us. Good luck, and I hope you get a great deal on a great unit!

Yep. For the most part, thatís my plan. Especially with how mobile we are. But I know there will be a handful of shake out things to deal with and weíll be in central FL for the first few months of the year.

BUT- this unit is in short supply. On RVTrade, Iím only seeing them here, 3 in Texas, 1 in Indiana, and 4 in Colorado. I really donít want to buy right now from a snow state.

Iím not against going to Texas. But Iíd like to see how this guy deals first.

Staying with a 5th wheel or jumping to a motorhome? Or even a toy hauler? Good luck on whatever you choose.

The thing that you have to consider with reviews is how many and how positive the range of reviews. In the business, there are what is called shills. These are reviews written by cohorts to show very positive experiences. It does not appear this company has all that many compared to other area dealers. You may want to check their corporate status with Florida.

Check these Facebook reviews. Twenty is still a small sampling.

The nice thing about Ft Myers is there are three different dealers within spitting distance of each other on I 75. There are 1000's of RV's between them. If you can't find what you want down there you just arn't in the mood for buying. You can get into a bidding war very easily. Just tell 'em "hold that thought, I'll be right back.
