110 PSI Tire options

What tires are out there? That are good any Americain made? I have looked and am coming up short. Best thing I can find is the maxxis. I was told the G614 is no longer made and the marathon is Chinese.

80PSI is E rated and is the minimum. I was wanting something a little better so there is a smaller chance of getting overloaded. F rated? G rated?

Here are the sizes. The first one is stock and I have heard the second one is optional.

235-80-16
235-85-16

My 2014 Cedar Creek came standard with Goodyear G614's that were manufactured in January. I haven't heard they have stopped manufacturing them.

Discount tire told me that. I'll keep checking.

Maxxis is from Thailand and Marathons are from China.

The other tire I might consider is Greenball tires.

Kumho's are from Korea, but I think they may have an American plant. I think they are one of the few tires that come in 14-inch D-rating.

The Goodyear Marathon tires are made in several locations. The ones that came on my 2013 Blue Ridge (16 inch, load range E) are made in China. (See the sidewall for place of manufacture) All are made to Goodyear specs. I have put about 4000 miles on since I bought the unit new in April and have not had any issues. Just make sure the pressure is right for your load.

xps rib Michelin tire
235-85-16 load is 3042 pounds 80PSI. sounds like an E rated tire.

Any experience with these? I read decent things about them. They seem to be made in France.

On another note....

How do they put E rated tires on the 385 BH I do not know? Loaded it is almost 16K! Seems like it needs G rated tires...
