2012 Sabre RETS

We have had this trailer for about a year, and now we have been using it for about the last month and stuff is falling apart.

Our warranty is over and the blow up bed has been replaced twice, kitchen sink tap replaced, and electric water heater replaced this past spring and it did not even last for this trip !!

Anyone else have these problems ??

The drawer on our blow up bed just cratered this trip !!

My husband researched before we bought this brand new,,, and I am really disappointed how it is falling apart ....

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your Sabre. Did you get the 2nd year warranty? FWIW we read that rolling up the blow up bed is better that folding it.

Welcome to the forum, Sorry to hear about your issues. We must have been lucky with ours. In 2 years next month we have over 40 nights and over 6000 miles, I've had a speaker go bad under warranty and a wheel seal leaking that I replaced this summer.

Is your dealer helping you out?

We had not heard of an option for a second year of warranty ...

It was never offered to us ... I wonder why ???
Thanks for the option on the bed ,,, never thought of that

We are traveling right now, so we will contact our dealer when we get back ...
I do not hold out any hope tho ...

There is a form that is likely in your paperwork. Ours was never pointed out until I found it well after that window for the warranty period.

It's a great deal and something well worth the money.

I believe that there is a thread here on the forum with contact info instead of waiting to get back and talking to your dealer.

Sorry, I re-read your original post and see your camper is a year old. You're past the time for signing up for the 2nd year warranty (it had to have been done within the first 30 days).

As for Sabres (and most other camper brands), it seems luck of the draw. You can have a LOT of satisfied customers, but someone still gets stuck with a crappy unit from time to time. It doesn't help you (or likely even make it better)- but you're not alone. Hopefully your dealer will support you with these issues. Try contacting the Sabre warranty manager directly for assistance, as well. And not saying you'd do otherwise- but remember, you catch more with honey than vinegar.
