2013 Sabre 34tbok stair threads

I'm looking to install a Dirt Devil vaccum, and trying to find the right location.

Are the stair threads glued on with the screws?

I removed the screws and they seemed pretty secure still. Didn't want to pull too hard to break one.

Your subwoofer should be under one of those steps so it might be a tight fit. Do you have enough room for the vacuum system there?

Forgot about the sub under there.
There's somewhat of an access panel accessed from the basement.
Never tried to take it off.
