2014 Columbus 320RS Recliners

Wondering about possible adjustment on the Recliners in a 320RS. We toured several before buying and all had the theater seating but we wanted separate recliners instead (need to be able to move around for dog crates). Anyway our Columbus 320 just arrived to our dealer and we went to take a peek. I'm 5'10" and when I sit my feet don't touch the ground (cue laughter)
Anyway wondering if anyone has these recliners in their 320 and if they can be adjusted for height off the floor?

Trust me it's not a major issue but wouldn't mind a fix. We only spent a few minutes taking a quick look at the trailer last week so I wasn't able to climb down on the floor to look at the undercarriage of these seats.

Safe travels

Python, just a suggestion. it's better to start your own thread, instead of piggybacking on someone else's, when yours isn't related to the OP's thread topic.
this one is about the recliners on a 320RS.

Recliners

Tiger bug; we took out our theater seTing and put in swivel recliners in our 340RK. We like these much better and it gives you more room.

Jczreed, we could saved each other money. LOL. I got so tired of moving our recliners out from the wall & back again, that we replaced them with the Ashley theater seating offered in the Columbus. I can see the benefit if you needed to move them. We now have a Columbus ordered & the theater seating is slightly different. I like the Ashley better than the current offering so we're having the dealer switch the theater seating when it gets here.

Had the same problem with ours, my wife can not touch the ground and had a hard time closing them, I looked for an adjustment but I could not find one.

2 dumps

On the 340RK. There is a black and grey water dump out for the shower and vanity. The dump in the back is for the kitchen grey wTer tank. I guess they didn't have a way of running the umbing to one dump out location.

Wow what kind of hook up problems does this cause? How big is each gray tank?

I think they hold close to 40 gal. Each. Some times you need about 30 feet of sewer hose. Just depends on dump hookup location at the park you are staying at. There are Y connectors you can purchase , but I just put in the extra section of Jose and dump the kitchen separately.

Just take them out and get a couple of Lazyboys, they will be much more comfortable than what comes in your 320. Thats what i did. IMHO

I have a question for denandra2
We also have a 2014 320RS. We special ordered ours and tried to order without any recliners. This didn't work out so we then ordered with the individual recliners. When the RV came we didn't like them at all and was able to exchange them with the theater seating. Not very satisfied with these either and at some point in time are planning on replacing them with Lazy boys. The question that I have for those who have done this is. Did you replace them with wall-away ones or the standard recliner?

I'm out.
Started thread to see if there was any type of adjustment on recliners. By post #2 it turned into a "Winterization" thread. Then in post #7 it morphed again to a thread about Grey Water Dumps".
This is my frustration with threads like this, they rarely if ever stay on track.
To all who actually posted about my subject matter, THANK YOU!

Replaced ours with standard Lazyboys mainly because I like the rocking action and the wallaways didn't rock. I just pull them out far enough to clear the wall and push them back in for travel. Some may find this to be a hassle but I think it worth the trouble for the comfort of the chair. Try chairs out at the store for awhile before you purchase to see which way you would prefer. Either way you will have better seating than what came in your 320. Good luck, hope you enjoy your 320 as much as we've been enjoying ours. Just came back after the winter in Fl and it worked out well!

Happy Camping!!!

Bring a magazine or book to read you should if you can read a couple of chapters and not think about the seating, you have chosen wisely.
