2015 already?

I just got the VIN for my new Puma fiver, and it is a 2015. It came off the line today and will be delivered next week. It seems pretty early for 2015 production. Does anyone now if there have been any changes to the Puma Fifth Wheel line-up for 2015? Should I be concerned about floorplan changes, etc. We are ordering through RVW, so I will not get to see it until it is delivered. I do have an email out to my sales guy asking for any details on changes. They will be able to put their eyes on it tomorrow morning.

They knocked over $16K off the MSRP of my unit simply because it's a 2014 model and they're making room for the 2015's.

Supposedly sales are up so much that they're getting further and further ahead, according to my dealer they're having the best sales they've had in years.

Usually any changes are made around the august-sept. Time.
I've seen several '15s at dealers, on the internet.

We ordered our Sabre in late Feb. 2012 and it was delivered 7 weeks later and titled as a 2013. Floorplan was the same as in 2012 brochure so I don't think you'll find any changes in yours. Congrats BTW!

I am hoping they have not changed much. Unfortunately this model (295BHS/295BHSS) has changed several times in the last five years. 2012-2014 were the same, but 2009-2012 changed every year, thus my concern. However, hopefully this "early" 2015 will be just like the 2014 and it will be a non-issue, I guess I will find out tomorrow when the dealer opens!

There were changes in the early 2013 and late 13s. Ours built in july 2012 had a flat counter, later, like after sept. 2012 they changed to the taller bar by the door. Also the colors got darker and diamond plate got darker. Ours had mirror finish diamond plate.

X2...Same time frame for us as well. RVs aren't like cars. From what I can tell, small changes are pretty much continuous throughout the model year.

You can check your VIN on page 8 of your owners manual to confirm year and some major features.

Quick question, My unit was produced the 28th of dec, 2011 by the vin# it was sold as a 2012 model to me on the 9 of feb. 2012. So when you sell the unit is it a 2011 or 2012? never noticed it until after I got it home and started going through everything.

Okay, running with this....I placed an order for a 2014 Rockwood 8327ss on February 20 and was told 10 to 12 weeks. Is it likely its going to be a 2015?

Your title should have 2012 on it and yes you should sell it as a 2012. It's typical in the RV industry to start producing the next year's model in March of the previous year. We took delivery of our 2013 Silverback on March 30th of 2012.

Count in 8 digits on your vin, thats the year distinguishing number, 2012 is a 'C'

Actually, it's the 10 digit of the VIN that's the year identifying number/letter.

That's great in my opinion. I still haven't heard from my dealer if they've even started building mine yet.....but its been ordered since the first of February. I'm glad to know it will more than likely be titled as a 2015 model.
