2018 386 fk

During the hot part of the day, I can not get the camper below 80. Slowly starts climbing from 72 to 80 without going in and out. Purchased unit in Feb. On our old camper we never had a problem keeping it cold. Any ideas?

We bought a brand new Puma 31BHSS in February and a/c didn’t work first trip. Does it sound like compressor kicking on?

After the sun starts to go down, it will begin getting cooler. Around midnight it will pull the camper back to 72-74 and begin cycling. It will maintain 72 until around 10-11 am the next day. Then they both A/C's run continuously for the rest of the day.

If you have a thermometer check the air at the return where the filter is and at the vent. There should be a 15 to 18 degree difference

The air is cold, although the camper wont stay cool. We noticed today that there is significant "Gaps" around the bottom sides of the slides. We can see quite a bit of daylight. Is this normal? As we didn't see this in our other camper. All 5 slides you can see daylight around the bottom edges.

Having the same issue with AC

I purchased my 386FK in October. Couldn’t keep it warm during the winter and can’t keep it below 80 during June. Hate to see what it will do during July. I was thinking about installing heat pumps and removing what should be Coleman ac’s but I believe are not Coleman’s. Has anyone tried two 15k heat pumps? Will it help?
