Where do you live? Since you say that other rigs in your neighborhood weren't damaged, you probably were the unlucky one that got hit by a microburst. If it was straight line winds, it would have caused a lot more damage in your neighborhood.
Glad no one was injured. I agree with the other replies saying you should go for totaling the trailer. There is going to be a lot of internal damage and stress that is going to be hard to determine and repair. Although, if they do total the rig, it will be sold to someone who will rebuild it and sell it to some poor unsuspecting buyer that thinks they are getting a great deal.

Wow! what a crappy surprise that is. I can tell you from past experience that the frame is going to be "tweaked", twisted. Like others have said here, I would really dig my heals in with the insurance co to total it. You will have years of headaches and issues if you keep it. Good luck.

My guess is they'll total it. After our accident last winter, and about 6 weeks of back and forth, our 5er was totaled and insurance treated me fairly well. It was a huge pain to go thru, and there's things I miss about our old camper (it was only 2 years old), but we're camping in the new one now and that whole mess is just a memory. Good luck. Be patient. It'll work out.

WOW! I was just talking to someone on here yesterday saying that this would likely never happen and hear it is. I guess I ate my words on that one. Sorry for your loss and I do hope they total it for you, I know how worrisome this can be with problems that do not surface right away.

Yes, sorry for your loss and glad no one hurt. I think it's a sure bet it will be totalled.

We were camped south east of Fort Worth in April when a huge storm rolled in. The winds hit the side of our trailer and moved it sideways about 1" to 1 1/2" ; and we were in a campground with trees and other campers around. Said the wind speed was 65-70 MPH. No doubt it would dump one over if there were no wind breaks around, and it doesn't look like there was. Hope the Insurance guys do the right thing.

Totaled, we got hit by hail and it put tiny dents on the right side that you had y o look at a angle to see them. Wife wanted to fit if fixed and called the ins co. They gave us 5k for new siding that I pocketed.. told the new owner when we sold and he said no problem

Oh no...we would cry!
Gosh, I don't even know how they would wrench it back upright...keep us updated and good luck with the insurance.
(We can get crazy winds off the mountains so if mine is parked, the stabilizers are down.)
