Got a call from the frieght company today, both the air conditioner and trailair will be delivered next Tuesday I might be able to get one or the other installed next weekend. I have a friend that has access to a forklift, might be worth it to sling that 180 pound pin box up.

It's here!

Freight truck showed up today with both the air conditioner and Tri-glide.

Hopefully I'll have time to work on these this weekend. Compared to the light gauge steel of the original pinbox, this triglide is one heavy mother.

Well, I couldn't just let the tri-glide sit there in the garage staring at me. So I sat there trying to figure out a way to sling that heavy thing up there without any help. I managed to get it on the workbench, then to the top of my little scaffold. With a few shims and lowering the landing gear, the holes lined up perfectly.

This should give me most of the day Saturday to work on the AC

I had a similar issue with my A/C except I had a 6" roof and they sent bolts for a 4" roof. Went to hardware store, only to find out they didn't have any long enough. Got a piece of all-thread cut to the size I needed and used lock nuts to tighten up.

Hmmmmmm, That's one heck of an idea! I just might do that, thanks!

Yes and yes. Fixing to go to the store and get a roll of foil tape to get everything sealed around the ducts. I pulled the Back quick cool to get an idea of what I need to do for the front one. Wow!, looks like I'll be spending some time on that one fixing all the air leaks that are going into the attic.

Spending a little time on the AC today, pulled the bottom vent to see how much work I'm going to have to do sealing the opening.

Some work with foil tape and I've got everything sealed up

The AC needs a 12 volt DC power supply, so I'm going to tap into the closet light switch. There are plenty of spare wires in the thermostat wire to use so I don't have to use another wire run.

Getting a little sidetracked by the smell coming out of the back yard
