I'm glad I have the skills and background to do the work myself.
In 2014 we bought a used 2011 PT Tracer which has nearly the same floor plan as yours. I love the rear slide-out for the kids' BR & especially the outdoor kitchen.

We bought ours from a dealer for about the same price as folks wanted on Craigslist, etc. & therefore I had the dealer do all of the repair stuff before we agreed to drive it off the lot... They adjusted all slide-outs, awning, etc. and installed the Equalizer 4 1200 WDH. However, I have had fun modding it myself by adding MaxxAir fans, LED lights, awning poles, etc. This summer I may add a 2nd A/C in the master w/separate circuit that will also power a couple outlets for an electric skillet or space heater.

When buying used, you MUST swap-out the generic "China Bombs" ASAP for Maxxis or similar quality TT tires... We also bought a new comfy mattress...

Our TT, same floor plan, is only 6,500 empty w/empty tongue of 650. However, ready-to-camp it's over 8,000 w/loaded tongue over 1,100. IMO that's a lot for the soft rear-end of the F150 (unless you have the HD upgrade...)

The truck is handling it well. I'm thinking of adding air bags to stiffen up things but I have pulled it 150+ miles with no white knuckles.

Last weekend I learned that the awning was missing a rafter arm piece. So another trip to the store and get the missing piece. I'm happy with the progress of getting ready to go full time and we're excited about the challenge.

We're almost there! Finishing up purging stuff and about to hand the keys to the landlord so as of this weekend we're full-time!

Checking in with over 2 weeks in. Happy campers we are. I've met some really nice folks here at Sam Houston Jones state park. A few days ago I met a couple fulltimers and even did a wheel and deal and I bought a sewer tote from them cheap. Yay I have a poo wagon! So far we haven't had a fhu site and it has come in handy. The day I got it I was just about to have to hook up and go to the dump station.

Facepalm! Big time. I gave the wrong model number! It's actually a 31DBSS.

And here it is a year later, loving our little home on wheels. We've been to Texas workamping, now back to Louisiana campground hosting at our favorite state park.

We have a 2018 31BHSS. We traded our 2015 28RBKS in on this one. The 31BHSS has a lot less exterior storage but gave that up for the outside kitchen and the bunkhouse slide. Wish we had more time to take advantage of getting out to camp in it. My wife misses her island sink in the 28RBKS. Give and take I guess.
