32 RCTS Height

Does anyone know the height of their Sabre 32RCTS? I have the optional air conditioner up front, so I imagine that will be the highest point. Any help appreciated. Sabre site still has TBD. I guess no one ever gets on the roof at the factory so they could provide this info. Maybe they are afraid of heights.

dont exactly know the height, but its less than 13' 6"
Is there a height you need to stay under ?

btw you didn't say what year ?
IF you get me a year I can ask somebody who can get me an answer .

also if you have the camper in possession take a long 2x4 up there and lay it across highest point then leave 2x4 sticking out over edge of camper and measure.

We've got a 2012 32RCTS with optional front a/c also and we were 13' from the factory as near as we could tell (Give or take 1/2"). However, we recently had a Correct Track alignment system installed on our RCTS that raised the height by two inches so we are now 13' 2" (give or take 1/2").

Sorry about not posting the year. I take delivery on Tuesday so I guess it is a 2013 or 14.

Just found out today that my covered storage space (rented ) is 12'9" in the rear and 13'6" in the front (those are the support beams that run left to right) I saw someone had posted that the front of the Sabre with the optional AC is right at 13'6". So it does not get much closer than that. Good thought about the suspension. I wonder what the Trail Air Equa Flex suspension does to the height? Sure I will measure prior to putting in storage.

We had the Trail Air Equa Flex system installed at the same time as the Correct Track. As far as I know, the Equa Flex didn't add any height, just the Correct Track. The Correct Track uses a longer shackle for easier alignment, thus the added height.

So, is there any noticeable difference with the Correct Track? If not in ride have you seen any improvements you could relate to the system? And if I may be so bold as to ask about what it runs to have it installed including the kit?

Thanks

Don't forget a level or make sure the 2x is the same distance from the roof on both sides of the ac.

Sorry for the long post but you asked...

Total cost for Equa Flex, Correct Track, never fail bushings and laser alignment was $1290 out the door. The dealer originally quoted $1399 plus tax for everything. When I asked for Correct Track and Never Fail bushings alone, they quoted $899. They came down about $150 on the package deal. I haven't noticed any towing difference from the Correct Track but do notice a softer ride from the Equa Flex. The added height is noticeable, especially from the rear of the trailer. You can see that it sits higher off the axles. The C.T. makes an alignment much easier for a dealer to perform and we are hoping that translates into lower cost. The dealer spec sheet indicated our front axle was almost 3/4" out of alignment from the kingpin and the rear axle out by 1/4". The alignment got both of those specs to within 1/16". Was it worth it...that I don't know. We plan on keeping our Sabre for a long time and felt it was a good investment.

Thanks

Great response Slide****. Thank you. My main concern is preventing costly damaging blow outs and getting things aligned should cetrinally help. Any idea how much taller your rig got?

You're welcome David, hope the info helps with your decision. Concerns of tire blowouts were a big factor for us in deciding to add the Correct Track system. We took measurements before/after and based on those unprofessional results, the added height was 2 - 2 1/2".

It may be even closer than that when u consider the addition few inched required to un hitch.
