4 steps or 3 steps??
Are the new Columbus' coming with 4 steps or 3 steps?
DW recently had knee surgery and we found that a fiver with 4 steps is easier it go up and down into that one with 3 steps.

I just changed out my Hickory Springs 3 step on my Sierra 365SAQ to a 4 step Stromberg Carlson. What a difference! The Stromberg is a much sturdier step, and my children can climb it much better. I will try to post a pic tomorrow. I did lots of research on the 3 different manufactures out there with 4 step configurations. I felt this one was the best.

I now just wish the internal steps could be changed to 4-steps.

The step height is the same but the bottom step is close to the ground. That way you never have a high first step.

I thought the step height decreased to 7" rise between the steps (instead of 9" for the normal 3-step steps). That's what I read about the QuadraSteps, at least.

We have 3 steps on our Sabre and sometimes we could usean extra step depending on grade of the site. So we use this step from Walmart: 
It is very stable and has 2 hieght postions.

We have one similar - it has 4 adjustable feet and we place it below the bottom step. It's left us with an awkward 1/2 step a time or two. And, believe it or not - hasn't been enough once (our first trip of all things- I now know what to look for when evaluating sites a bit better!).
I'd still like to swap out for the 4-step versions due to the lower step height.

I will be picking up our 2013 320rs (Mfg. date of 4/13) next week and it also has 4 steps. Just another "like" with this unit. Can't wait for the first trip!

These work great. I found one at a resale shop for $17.00. I think they are about $30.00 at Wally World, if you can find one now. Last time I looked they didn't have them at my local WM. Best extra step for the money.

Looks like with the additional leverage added by the (4th) step,that the (Youroo Jack) will be required more to stop (Camper Rock) on entry & exit?  Simple bolt on,self storing Youroo Jack! Youroo!!

As youroo says, the 4 steps put a lot of extra leverage on the 2 bolts and the structure they go thru'. If I wanted an extra step, I would use a separate independent step.

If/when(?) I get the 4-step model, supports under it will be part of the purchase.
The problem is - I have 2 doors and it just ends up an expensive mod!

Just make a couple of wooden steps and when traveling, you can turn them upside down and store things in them.

I do not want to get into your financial situation,but after spending (300$ x 2),for Steps (5$ x 2) for jacks seems small$. Youroo!!
