Are you referring to a wall mounted thermostat or one located on the unit? Ours is the latter.

If ypurs is on the unit itself I'll bet it stays on all the time. Only the compressor shuts down once the set temperature is achieved.

Thanks all! The campground lost power. My thermostat reset to "Low". It took me a night to realize this. I was in the classsic " troubleshoot the worst first" mode rather than the simple more obvious things
