Thumbs up Adding a TV to the basement storage on a 320RS

I added a TV and DVD player to the basement storage on my Columbus 320RS. I used the Morryde sliding TV mount to put a 32" Vizio LCD TV in the bay, and added a Sony DVD player as well.

I completed the install by adding a Plexiglass shield in front of the screen to protect it from anything that may fly it's way in transit. I made the Plexiglass removable by attaching it with strips of Velcro top and bottom.

All in all a pretty cool mod, and makes the outside area a little more fun.

Looks good Sarge. You've got a very organized basement! Question for you. Did you have the power outlet and cable connection already in the basement wall or did you add them? My CC has the outlet but not cable.

Another great mod Sarge. Really good idea on the protective Plexiglass shield!

Sarge I thought I was organized but I now realize I am but a novice. How about some more photos of the storage areas. I am truly space challenged in my Sandpiper.

Thanks guys, the hook ups were already there in my basement. I think it was all part of the exterior entertainment prep.

I agree that the exterior storage HAS to be organized and accessible. I hate going through box after box looking for that widget I need. I will get a few more pics of the storage today.

I thought I was organized (and I am) but I like what you have done with containers and pull-outs.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.

OK, here are a few more storage pics. Most of these are of the drivers side storage, and the front bay. Most of the front is taken up with the generator and the batteries, but there is still some room for light stuff.

Very nice and well done. I looked at that mount for doing mine, but the height of my 32" TV was taller than the height from the basement floor to the top of the baggage door, so it wouldn't be able to slide in and out. I wonder if yours is different. It seems I remember my TV being 19" tall and that height being less. I ended up making my own mount and saving a few $$$ in the end. I posted mine here http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...d-35872-3.html I just couldn't bring myself to pay the almost $600 that the factory wanted for the little 22-23" TV.

Good eye! That's just a type of grease for a pump grease gun that I have. There are a few different types of grease for different applications. Not sure I will need to carry them anymore now that the diesel pusher is gone.
