Akuret Tires on Sabre

My Sabre came with Akuret tires, China made, imported and distributed by a company in Memphis,(I think).
I haven't had any problems out of mine after 3,500 miles. Just wanted to see if any Palomino owner has had any problems with them so far. Was by my RV dealer the other day and they had a Jayco in the service area with "tire blow out damage" from a Chinese ST tire, about $3,000.00 worth. Dealer said they haven't had any problems with Akuret so far.
I plan on running mine for two years then replacing with an LT tire but concerned about the clearance since the tires are so close together.
Anyone have any comments?

ST tires

I had ST tires on my 2010 31RETS-6 that I wore out in a year. When I got back from AK, I replaced them all with BFG Commercial TA LT 245-75-16 tires. This size is the same diameter as the originals. My tires are very close together also. I had funky wear issues with the original tires. Had the trailer alignment checked, and the new tires were balanced. After 3000 miles, they are wearing great, and still look new.

Our Columbus 320 RS has the Akuret tires and so far no issues. Only have about 1,000 miles on them so time will tell.

we've got Akuret tires on our Columbus 320RS and have about 4,000 miles on them with no issues- justgot back from a 1700 mile round trip doing 70-75 mph most of the time with no problems--didn't even get too warm- i checked them at every stop.

i havent had any issues with mine yet either, but only have about 300 miles on them. as 1jeb said.. time will tell. had never heard of them until purchasing this camper. has any sabre owners been able to get those x chocks that go between the wheels to actually go between the wheels? seems a bit tight for them to me, and didnt want to spend the money if they dont fit.

I do have the X Chocks and they are a very tight fit but you can get them between the tires. Sometimes if I park a certain way, on one side the tires must be in a little bind and it is very hard to get the X chock between the tires. Don't see why they had to put the axles so close together. I think it may be impossible to switch to a LT tire in the same size range because, from what I am finding, the LT tires are a faction of an inch larger in diameter than the ST's, then there would be no way to use the X chock.

X chocks

I have the x chocks for my 2012 sabre. They are a tight fit but work very well.

Good to hear the X Chocks work on the Sabre tires as I use these all the time on our other campers and was taking it for granted that they would fit our soon to be new Sabre
