Millertime - how do you like the large u sofa instead of the couch and dinette? Open range pretty much orders all of theirbunkhouses with this option. Husband wonders how comfortable it is to watch tv - does it come withan ottoman? .Thanks. we are looking at getting a 36qbok!! We were looking at the Columbus 385bh but the bunkhouse is awful and some of the comments here make me think the Sabre is a better choice for us.

For ottomans, we use those fold up kinds that can collapse. It made out love seat go from awful to quite comfy. Plus, we use it as a toybox for our 2 year old.

We bought two of these in brown for ottomans. Work great and give us more storage for blankets and other items. We store them on the couch or dinette when in travel.

That's almost exactly what we have. I think ours came from one of the surplus/overstock stores.

We love it!! We eat outside most of the time and just put up one of the tables if the kids eat cereal (we use the ottoman as a bench on the otherside too). We use our ottoman, that we got a couple of last black friday, at walmart- just for a camper.
We didnt like the dinet and couch set up because we just ended up lounging in the dinet area and was pretty uncomfortable.
Would have to have again in any camper. That was one reason we went with the Sabre instead of a heritage glenn or something else.
Heres the ottoman, we put on a towl and push again the stove during transport.

Thanks for the information. It seems that all who have the u-lounge really like it. I'm learning a lot of things on the forum. Never thought much about an outside kitchen but after reading many posts it is now on the must-have list!! I appreciate any and all comments and suggestions.

I don't have those.
Besides the cost, I've heard of too many self leveler issues on lipert systems. It sounds nice but would be a real pain when it didnt work.
Plus they only offer a 4 point system, seem like the 36 should/would really need a 6 point.
I plan on adding a couple more stab jacks mid ship to help

We also like it, and have really never even used the tables. I don't know why it doesn't show up as an option online, or in the brochures I've seen. I'm with you on having to pass on the Columbus. What By the time you're done, you'll probably have all the options. The outside kitchen was a must for us, and Sabre had the best setup, even though there's no grill. That was an easy fix, just bought 2 T-fittings, a 6' length of gas pipe, and extended the gas line to the other end of the slide, and added 2 more quick connects. Now I can have the Weber Q200 and my smoker after setting them up for quick connects.

We love our automatic leveling system. Its so easy, you back in unhook from your truck and pull out of the way and then hit the autolevel button and walk away and start hooking up your sewer hoses, water hoses, etc.... It also makes the trailer a lot more stable with where the jacks are placed compared to my other buddies that have the electric jacks at the very back of the trailer. All in all it some of the best money I spent on my Sabre 36QBOK-7.

I'd love to save my pennies and have the Bigfoot leveling system installed. Even with our usage, I can't imagine spending the $4-6k on it.

The system from Sabre factory was an $1,800 add on.

If it had been an option when I bought, I likely would have opted for it.
The Lippert LevelUp (is that its name?) is cheaper than the Bigfoot system. But, if I'm adding it later- I'd go whole hog.
I'm really excited that Sabre added this as an option- now I know the frame can handle it! That was one of my worries early on when I thought about it.

Going seasonal we didnt think the self leveling would be worth it. The cost would pay our lot rent for about a year and a half (actually about 14 months).
If you had to setup alot and it worked well, it would be a big bonus.
