Not sure if the MB AC is low profile or standard. I think its standard but will let u know. They never asked us when we ordered. We found we did not use the dinette often plus u do have two small tables for the superlounge that store under the couch.

Was the unit at Holman the Silverado? I looked at it last spring and thought that was the way to go. Especially the marquis (black and white) interior. We were reluctant due to the low trade value offered on our current unit. I then found the Sabre and liked it better due to.the residential shower, bike rack and superlounge and microwave in the outside kitchen. After trying to sell my outback privately I decided on the trade for the qbok even though the trade value was about the same as Holman offered. U only live once! And u r correct..its VERY LARGE! Not sure why Sabre lists it at 39'7" when by most accts by currents owners, the length is closer to 42'
Is it really 42' long? Does anyone have dimension from pin to bumper?

I got 41' 10" length from the sales rep at Sabre before I purchased. My storage lot spot is 40' with grass behind it. I always backup over the grass some so I've never actually checked to see the actual length.

What I did measure- hooked up to my crew cab/long bed truck, bumper to bumper we're 58 1/2' give or take some since I was measuring with a 10' tape measure.

And, comparing it to other quad-slide bunkhouse models, I'm almost positive it's over 40'. There's just too much stuff/room for it not to be.

That may work better as a location for me because I'm thinking about adding a vac pan, and the kickplate to the bottom step would be perfect. Looking thru that black mesh, I could also see that there's a receptacle there where I guess the fireplace plugs in.

Also, I felt the back wall in the bunkhouse for a TV backer. I only seemed to be able to feel the stud. Is this what everyone else is mounting to, the stud?
Can't wait to start seeing your tuts on how to do these mods. I'll be watchin!

So plan is now pick up on March 22nd and drive home. Load up and head out the 23rd to Nashville. From there head to Pensacola for a nice Spring Break with the fam-damily.

Anyone know anything good and close to 65 headed south near Nashville? Or anything a good 5-6 hours in from Cincy? Just a quick one-nighter so we can get out early and down to FL!

Did Lex to the gulf coast for Tgiving. On the way down stopped at first exit in Alabama. Campground litterally at the end of the exit ramp. That would be at least 6-7 hrs for u. However that leaves you about 6hrs from the gulf. There is a good KOA not to far off of the exit at the south end of Bowling Green about 35-40 miles north of Nashville. Dont confuse it with the KOA at Horse Cave which is not as nice.

The place I stopped in Alabama is Northgate campground in Athens. Very affordable and convenient to I65 with flat pull through sites.

Awesome, calling them up now. We booked our stay down in Destin today. Anyone else wanna join up? We'll be there Mar 23, leave on the 30th.

Speedcat, that's a perfect cutoff for us, 6 hours with each leg. Gonna give them a call now.

I'm getting ready to order my vent covers. Problem is..... I haven't really paid too much attention to the roof. I know that I will need one for the fantastic fan, one for the living area, and not sure if there is one in both the bunkhouse and bathroom, or just the bathroom. I'm getting the second A/C up in the master so no need up there. Can any of you help me out?

Thanks!

The only vent covers that I recall offhand are over the 2 bathroom vents (in fact, they're the only vents that I'm recalling offhand). That said- I despise being on the roof so I try to avoid it as much as possible and am simply focused on not dying while I *am* up there.

1 for each bathroom

I got 2 of the fanmates by maxx air. The fantastic cover requires that you anchor it to the roof. You may want to stay with the maxx airs.

Hi I'm new to the forums, I just took delivery of our 36QBOK yesterday, I had the dealer install the Trail Air rotoflex hitch on it as a dealer add on. They ordered directly from Forest River but I am not certain they ordered the right one. Is there anyone else that has the option factory installed and could look at the model sticker on the hitch and tell me what there's is?

looks a little short and the angle of the plate is pitched forward. Plus I pulled it down to where we keep it and seemed to buck and jerk a lot more than my old one (2010 Keystone Cougar 324RLB). Granted this one is 4 feel longer I would have thought the rotoflex would have made things better.

Was considering this one..... Looks like it doesn't require a roof anchor either.
