Umm...I normally don't check forums but striking out with some 1st hand intel on the Palomino Sabre 36 QS2B (I think I have that right). It's the one with two bedrooms, and it appeals to our needs, so wondering a couple of things.
Sabre question.....does anyone have one of these units yet, and if so, how do they like it? Secondly, is Sabre a decent brand re: quality, durability, etc? Lastly, if anyone has Sabres, do dealers take care of you?

Measured my trailer while hooked up tonight when pulling in. I used a 4' level off of the front ac.
I came in at 13' 5 1/2". That was with 8 1/2" of clearance between the bed and trailer, and with my "35' " tires on. I'm gonna drop my hitch or raise my pin to get it a little lower, I think, might not get around to it before I move it to a seasonal site next weekend!

We have the 36qbok 2 bedrooms 1 1/2 bath....we love ours. Quality seems ok the cloth covers on the dinning area wrap around did warp pretty easily from setting on the seats...but I think they all do...I woukd give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Can any 36qbok owners tell me the width for the couch opening in the main living room slide? Specifically the wall to the end of u-dinette. I was told it was 60inches exactly. I would like to replace the jack knife sofa on a unit we are buying with a lazy boy reclin away. The lazy boy is 57 inches wide.
Thanks!
Bill

I didn't do the u shaped dinette but we did replace the couch with 2 lazy boy recliners and love it.
Sorry they are turned sideways ready to travel but you can see they fit in there just fine.

Pirate, you have more space because the booth dinette is smaller than the u-shaped dinette.

Stoker,
Welcome to the forum. We don't have the model you're interested in but I can address your 2nd & 3rd question. Yes, IMHO Sabre is a quality built unit. We're on our 3rd season with ours and are very happy with the durability and build quality. We're on a seasonal site and we're there every weekend from mid April thru mid October so our Sabre has had alot of use. Our dealer was great in handling a couple real small issues we did have, 1) replaced galley kitchen faucet handle due to set screw being stripped (actually ordered us a complete faucet assembly), 2) replaced day/night shade in hallway after string broke, 3) replaced exterior door lock.

This is a brand new model I've not heard of anyone on here having one.
That being said WE LOVE OUR SABRE!

Agreed.
That said, my dealer sucked but Sabre warranty ROCKS. When I talked to the warranty rep, they said that the 2 bedroom model was incredibly popular.
In case you're interested in how Sabres are built, I have a whole set of factory tour pictures:
