Hot dang. Ok- that'll save us from carrying the big knife block. Thanks everyone!

I assume our knives can travel there?

Supposedly- my mother-in-law claims we do. I know I've seen the wooden area behind the stove (in fact, lost a butter knife down there once). But, I've never taken notice about it being slotted for knives to go in there.

If it works out, it sure sounds like it'll be handy.

We had one in our 1995 dutchmen and our 2007 laredo but alas....none in our 2014 crusader - wish it did - some of the larger knives do not fit in drawers!!

So does everybody have a vent on the back of thier 36?
Cause ours doesnt, and I thought that there was a new vent design till today.
Found this after trying to track down the stench In the bunkhouse.
At least the elbow was laying on the floor next to the pipes. I did a duck tape cap on the pipe to stop the smell for now, and will try just leaving the tank valve open

We also have the vent. I was under the assumption that it provided air into the OK or was a vent for that tank (the gray tank for the sink). Where is the picture in the middle taken from? That does seem strange.

That is behind the access panel that is just below the wardrobe drawer on the OK side.

I noticed the smell last weekend and dumped the tanks. And then friday I noticed it when I ran the ok sink. And yesterday a spent a while dumping and flushing all the tanks. This morning I noticed the smell again when using the ok sink. Thats when I started chasing down the vent pipe.
I guess they just flat out forgot to put the hole in ans install the elbow they left in there.
Im just glad I figured out where the smell came from. Its finally smelling better since I capped off the vent pipe

If I hadn't of remembered asking about your vent a few pages back on here, I might not have realized what was missing as soon as I did!

Any Sabre 36QBOK's out there?

I'm not near my 2013 36qbok right now.... We are changing out our home queen mattress and thinking about putting it in the trailer. Does anyone know the dimensions of the mattress that fits in the 5th?

Is anyone else as frustrated as we are with the cabinet doors in the BH? The closest ones to the bunks can barely open because of the slide out frame. Any suggestions?? I mam considering taking the doors on both sides off, adding shelves and getting mesh nets to make sure everything stays in place. Thoughts???

I would like to know the dimensions of the bunk area of someone's camper that has the bunks that in a slide out preferably the one that would have the jack knife sofa at the bottom and twin bed on top. I would like the height, width, & depth of the slide out and the distance between the top of slide out and the top bunk.
I am looking at turning my dinette are in my small rear living 5er into a bunk area so I can make this camper last a while longer before I have to buy another. I have three kids. Any suggestions?
