Do the lights stay in place when you roll up the awning?

I believe his awning is fully retracted in the photo.

I just picked up a 2014 23ikss and it has the LED awning lights as a standard too. They are great!

My understanding is at the very end of the awning, just under it. To be used in both retracted and extended modes.

The end of the awning would be the first place that rolls up when the awning retracts. It seems that they would have to be mounted on the underside of the awning at the very back. Doubtful that the awning lights would extend with the awning. Instead they would remain fairly static weather the awning is in or out.

It is mounted under the track that holds the fabric to the unit. It can be used when the awing is extended or rolled up as in the pix.
