Bathroom air vent

Can anyone tell me if the max air vent cover will work with the fan tastic fan in the bathroom or do I need to buy the fantastic brand one? Other than $30 I don't really see a difference

I had max air on my old camper and fantastic fans. This one came with the fantastic fan verions. You should be fine with max air.

I just put a regular Maxxair on mine and it just prevents you from opening the lid as far, but the fan still works just fine.

X2. Size of the vents are the same and both will work. I bought the Fantastic ultra-breeze cover as it has less flow restriction (they have pretty pictures that show it) but any of the popular covers will work.

Funny this pops up today... i was the dealer yesterday and I picked up a Max Air 2 because they said I needed the 2 version with the fantastic, while heading home i am in conversation with my buddy, he tells me he has an extra smoke Max Air 1 that he can give me, he's been running the fantastic fan with a max air 1 for a year now with no issues.... so I promptly returned the Max Air 2

With these installed, we never even close the bathroom vent - rain or shine or 50 mph wind. They install in 10 minutes and attach to the side of the fan housing not the roof and are hinged.
Yes, they fit on FanTastic fans, they are about 1/2" elevated from the roof and therefor provide constant air flow.

Same here. Never ever closed the cover, even in winter time, to provide ventilation. Lives up to the it's names Maxxis and Fantastic.

Has anyone installed one of the Ultra Breeze? Just wondering if they are anymore difficult to install than the Max Air?

The Ultrabreeze is a bit trickier in that it does not attach to the sides of the existing vent, it attaches to the roof, so you have to remove some of the caulking to get at 4 screws that go into your trailer roof, mount the vent cover and you also need to reapply some roof sealant over the screws that you are replacing. Not a big deal to some, but many don't want to play around with removing some roof sealant and having to re-apply...and the Ultrabreeze vent covers are no cheaper...may in fact cost more depending where you get them.

It appears they cost a little more but the video was convincing.

What I use as well, and likewise, I leave them open all the time for ventilation and don't have to worry about blowing rain.
