Battery disconnect Puma 255RKS

I am a new owner of a 2019 Puma 255RKS. When I put it in storage after bring it home from the dealer I looked for a battery disconnect switch and couldn’t find one. Does anybody own a 255RKS? If so does it have a disconnect switch? If so where is the switch located?

If not, what have you done about disconnecting the batteries while in storage?

I've never used the switch. Even when in storage, I have a hard time trusting that my deep cycle batteries won't be stolen... (It's happened before). I always take them off the trailer and put a trickle charger on at home. Keeps them charged enough and I don't have to worry about having to buy new ones in case something bad happens.

Most stick and tin trailers don't have factory battery disconnect switches.

I own one...

Good morning. Yes, I own one--a 2018 model year. It doesn't come with one, so one of my first projects was to install one.

Feel free to PM me anytime with other questions/comments...

Greg

I just installed one on our new-to-us 2018 Surveyor, which surprisingly did not have a disconnect. I bought the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 from Amazon and put it in a weatherproof box on top of one of the battery cases. We'll see how it works out. Cheers

We have a 2017 and it does not have one. It’s been a very good camper so far, we’ve had no problems at all. Love it.
