Bedroom Slide on Columbus 320RS

We have a 2014 Columbus 320RS fifth wheel and am unable to find a way to manually close the bedroom slide out. Don't have any issues with the slide yet but just wanting to be proactive for the day that a problem does happen. Anyone have an idea as to how this can be accomplished. This wasn't discussed during our walk through.

I have a 340rk, You bring up a great point.. Is there a way to manually bring in the bedroom slide? My dealer never mentioned it ..
Time to investigate..

Under the foot of the bed take the floor out to reveal the motor and shafts going to each side, You have to disconnect the shafts from the gear box and then you can manually push the slide in from the outside! How do I know? my 2014 320RS in June 2013 was three weeks old and shear pin from motor to gear box SHEARED! This is how I was told to do it by my dealer! Hope this helps and hope you never have to try it out!!!

Happy Camping
from sunny Fl already!

Thank You for answering, I hope to never have to do this.. But will make sure I have the tools on hand and a couple of extra shear pins.

Thanks for the information denandra2. I would also hope to never have to manually push in the slide. But at least now I know.

Bed room slide out
Does the slide out have two separate motors, one on each side. I would like to create a longer storage area between the two motors to store my outside awning. I had done this on my previous trailer.

Does your bedroom slide have the Shwintek setup?

Took the floor up in the bottom of the bed and found that the motor, shafts are bolted with 1/4 " bolts. Looks like forest river have cured the sheer pin problem. Looks really solid on our 320RS. I cut a door in the floor to get at it just in case.
