Bedroom TV

I'm just wondering if someone could help me the TV in the living room working just fine on my satellite but for some reason the bedroom TV will not work on the satellite
but if I run the satellite cable through the window to the box it works fine any help would be much appreciated

On my columbus you have to install a coax jumper from the sat plate at the main tv to the sat plate next to it to receive a signal in the bedroom.

By your main living room tv do you have two satellite coax connections?
